Evos intalled...first impressions
After installing them there was something I noticed that kind of scared me at first. The front caliper gets very, I mean very near the wheel spokes but of course never touches them. It gives kind of slick look to the whole setup and makes the caliper and rotors (I got Eradispeed ones in all 4 corners) really stand out.
Ive seen all kind of wheels and sizes on f-bodys and truly believe 19"s wheels look the best in these cars, of course this depends on the wheel design and is always open to debate.
Ride quality changed. It feels firmer but does not feel as horrible as some people have said. Handling improved a lot (shorter tire wall). There is some increase in road noise though (nothing the stereo cant handle!) Im running Kumhos Ecsta Supra 275/30/19 so maybe that could be a factor.
Looks? Stunning to say the least. That lip (3.5 inches wide) really turns heads. Car is a silver 1999 TA with Ram Air hood and currently rides stock height and IMO looks very well, Im not planning on lowering and if I do I will go with stock shocks and Konis adjustables.
Thanks to the guys at Wood and Dash for a great service and price!
