do the bump stops have to be grinded? quick questin.. if im trying to put 17x11 zr1's on, and the bump stop is right on the tire when i raise the car but once i drop the car the bump stops look to be ok, if i hit a bump, will they hit the tire?
someone just told me that they didnt grind down there bump stop when they put 11 zr1's on and they never had any problems?

I didn't grind the bump stop, but I trimmed the little "lip" where it mounts back. If the inside of the tire hits the bump stop, I'm OK with that, but I don't want the metal bracket where it mounts to hit. It took about an hour with a Dremel (and several re-inforced cutting discs) to do both sides.
