Default Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 Tire pressure?

This is my DD and ive got new Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's goin on Thursday. Wanted to know the best tire pressure to use? And I'm takin a road trip down to FL from here in NJ, so what pressure for the best mileage? And any track pressure suggestions?

Right now I think theyre at 35. I read that you should use the same pressure on all street tires depending on the car. (on Goodyears site) but that doesnt sound right... maybe they werent including new tire sizes.

I keep mine around 32 cold and they seem to be wearing perfectly even across the tread. At the track i've used anywhere from 24-22 psi. It really does not matter much as they don't hook till the top of 2nd gear anyway.

So that seems to be ball park, 35. Cool.

Anyone else?

Alright lookin like I should go a little lower... so maybe 32 is a good median. Thanks for your input guys.

What about at the track?

I have 285/40s and they get a bit squirmy if I run
under 32PSI. Maybe 275s with the shorter sidewall
could take less.

Forget the track, the tires are good on clean or wet
pavement but I can't get below 2.0 60' times when
sliding on other peoples' cheese. I swear it launches
better at the stoplight than it does at the tree.

I'll tell you what tho, lol theyre better than the rubber I got on there now. Came with Kuhmo supra's, and theyre junk. lol So a solid 2.0 wouldnt be all that bad for me. I think a 2.16 or so is my best 60' to date.

I do plan on pickin up some DR's or slicks when I finally get my rear done. But that wont be a little while.

So far though, 32 seems like a good solid figure to go on.

jimmyblue is right on with his assessment. It seems traction on our wonderful WV roads is better than at the track.
