How much for good 275s. I am looking at a car but it needs new tires.
How much can i expect to pay for new 275 tires. I want to get pretty good ones that are gonna grab the ground good, last a long time, and at least tread water.

I paid ~ $800 for a set of nitto extreme Zr:
2: 265/40/zr18
2: 285/35/zr18

Do yourself a favor and go with either the BF Goodrich G-Force series, or a Michelin Pilot tire.
I like the BFG G-Force T/A KDW-2, but I don't believe the offer a 275/40/17. Just the 275/35/18 as posted above.
If your looking for THE best tire, that I feel fits all your criteria...
I vote fot the Michelin Pilot Sport 2. (PS2) Tire rack lists them for $257 a piece.
They are great in rain, amazing on dry roads, and will provide a good amount of traction.
About $900 for a set of Goodyear F1 GS-D3's ... best all-around street tires I've had yet. They stick better than any street tire you'll find plus they stick damned near as good in the rain. They're awesome tires for sure and they look better than any street tires I've seen yet.
