10.5 Z06 Rims with 315s?

im running same wheels w/ 58mm offset and my 295/35/18's slightly rub at times im wanting 315's when these are gone and im planning on renting a fender roller and using a bfh.... my 295 look to skinny on the rim the tread sticks in further then the bead.... i am running firestone firehawks currently... they are cheap

Are you saying 295's look too skinny on your 10.5's? Might you attribute this to the tire being a thinner 295 than some other treads that may be wider, and in fact look nicer (e.g. BFG KDW2's)?

yeah my 295 look to skinny on the 10.5 wheel.... i dont know if firestone firehawks run skinnier then other tires but i deff want to go wider.... i like the look the firehawks have, they look very agressive and hook up way better then my 275 goodyears on my stock wheels....

I am running a 295/30/18 on a 10.5" wide rim with a +45mm o/s. Next time around I think I am going to shoot for 315's in a 315/30/18 size. I don't -think- I will have any problems by the looks of things, but who knows.....
