Default RED SMOKE tires kumho ecsta mx-c scented tires have they gone mad or into the future

So... Kohmo is now making tires that burn red smoke. the mx-c its called ive heard they are making other colors. there is an additive in the tire that realeses the color when the tire exceeds 200 degrees celcius. umm..?.. cool i guese but $2000 per tire thats insane. i also hear that they are making scented tires that actually dont smell of that beatutiful smell of burning rubber we have all come to love, rather scents like lavender and rosemary.
is this crazy or insanely cool(keep in mind the insane price tig that you will burn up in a minute or two if your lucky. tell me what you think.

Onlyyyyy, they can't afford them. As these cost as much per tire, as their entire car.

Hello and welcome to last year! This is old news but I still think they're cool. That GTO that Automobile put the set on and burned off was killer. I wanted a set for my car but not at $2500 per tire! They're intended for drifting competitions and Kumho had to make at least 2500 tires to make them legal for competition. They sell them through special order on Tire Rack. The other color is blue. The scented tires were just a SEMA proof of concept deal. They aren't actually selling them.

I love how anything that's different than the "norm" to you guys is gay. I think it's a neat idea and was really awesome on the Automobile video they had on their site.
