I have KDW's and have not been very impressed with them in the rain, not impressed on dry pavement, nor how the wear, and they couldn't even come close to sticking at the track when my car was stock.

I'm getting GSD3's next. They have kicked *** in tire-comparison tests and have a really high tread-wear grade.

I'm trying to decide between the KDW2's and the GSD3's. My main area of concern is how the tires track. Meaning I currently have the F1 stock 275's on my WS6 on all 4 corners and it wants to follow every crack in the road....sometimes it requires 2 hands on the wheel on some uneven pavement(my old'89 ranger with 175,000 miles was easier to drive). Will either one of these give a significant improvement.

Thanks

I haven't noticed any tracking issues at all with my GS-D3s

The wider the tire, the worse it's going to follow the road. The stock F1s are pretty bad though. Some are better than others. Both tires track fairly well, once they warm up.

Also, be sure to check your tire pressure. 30-35PSI depending upon how you like them, and how they wear.

GSD3s came on my car and I was hesitant at first in rain because I'd heard F-bodys were trash in rain. But I quickly realized that it's quite hard to hydroplane or lose traction on wet roads. I can easily drive 10-20mph over without fear of losing traction. On dry pavement they are a pretty good tire, I have no real complaints.

Oh yeah, just DONT drive them in the snow. Not even touching the gas going 5 miles an hour the car just slid doing its own thing... couldn't get any form of traction and I felt death was iminent the one time I had to take them out.

They are nearing the end of their life though (car has 25k, not sure when they were put on). For the price they are a pretty damn good tire and I would get them again but might try something else out when I get some wider tires.
