i Know you need spacers to put 4th gen wheels on a third gen, I think the backspacing in about an inch different but I'm not for sure.

I think 9 1/2 inch wheels would fit with the correct backspacing.

They will fit with 1.5"(I think) backspacing. Look over on the ThirdGen.org website for that kind of info. They have tons of wheel combinations. I also have a 3rd gen....just cant remember what size adapter I had to get...

But if you doubt that is the correct size, heres my reasoning. Third gen camaro wheels, at least on the iroc, were a 0 mm offset for the rear and +16 for the fronts. Rear zr1 wheels that are run on camaros (11's) are +50mm. 50mm in inches is 1.969. So basically 2 inches. The fronts are +56mm - +16mm = 40mm, which is about 1.575 inches. So I would run 1.5" spacers on the front. That was my plan but just never got around to purchasing the front ones by the time i sold my car. But if you run the 9.5's all the way around 1.5 would work fine.

I sold my Enkei Win wheels ,17x9.5", to a buddy and they fit fine on his 91 RS with 1" adapters. BTW stock 4th gen wheels are either 16x8 or 17x9.

Right, but that was just an example. The offsets will be basically the same as the stock 4th gen wheels. Give or take a little.
