Which tires
So guys, big decision to make.
Should I go with
Michelin Pilot Sports in 315/30/18 and 285/35/18
Michelin PS2s in 315/30/18 and 275/35/18
Pirelli PZeros in 315/30/18 and 285/35/18
BFG G-Force TA Drag radial in 315/30/18 and BFG KDW NT in 275/35/18 (same tread pattern for the BFGs)
I would jump all over the BFGs b/c of the price, but I am worried b/c I drive the car all year long except in the snow. So I am concerned about the rain.
The Pirellis are an additional $200 over the BFGs and the Michelins are $250-300 more than the Pirellis. I don't mind paying the Michelin costs so long as I am receiving a better overall tire. (Rain and dry performance)
Which would you choose and why? If other, please list and take into consideration the tire sizes I need, they are going on a set of CCW 505As in 18x11 and 18x10
As a side note, BFG has delayed the release of their BFG KDW NT in 315/30/18 from mid-Feb to May 1st...I won't be waiting again only to be turned away again.

Well I just did a little research and turns out I am wrong The widest size Goodyear makes in the GS-D3's for an 18" wheel is 285/35/18 or 285/30/18. I'm not sure if you want to go down that far for width, but I thought I'd throw it out there
In the case that you don't want to go that "skinny" , I am going to go with the BFG drag radial. I have not had personal experience with this tire unlike the GS-D3's, but from what I hear it is a great tire! Also, have you considered Nittos at all?

Just a heads up. The D3's run really wide. I compared them to the stock F1's side by side and they were about an inch wider. Exact same size. Not sure I'd risk trying that though. Good luck.

BFG's are awesome on dry pavement..they handle and hook crazy, but they suck in the rain and will wear out extremely fast. I'm on my third pair of 315/35/17's and I average about 5k miles a pair.
I think Nitto's 555R are the way to go. Not as sticky as BFG's but good in the rain and last longer. My next pair will be Nitto's.
