275's on an 11 inch wheel??
Anybody done this? How bad would it look as a temporary fix? I can get basically a free 11 inch wheel because one of my 9.5s was damaged, but when you add the cost of another 11 inch wheel and a set of 315's it gets pricey.
I know from the manufaturer the 275 is recommended as fitting an 11 inch wheel just wondered if anyone has tried it.

It seems it would be the same as trying to put a 315 on a 9.5" rim. I wouldnt try it, in fear of stretching the tire too much for it to fit on the rim. I'm no expert, but thats my $.02

LOL you guys all act like I'm crazy The only reason I asked is the tire Manufacturer says they fit, unlike the 315 on a 9.5 scenerio where for a 315 the minimum width is 10.5. the approved rim is 9-11 inch for a Nitto 555 at Nittos website and I look at others as well before asking this question.
I know its not ideal they wouldn't be on there for more than a few months and it isn't a DD. But it sounds like they are no good even for that so I will take everyones advice and go with some 315 if I decide to put 11's back there!
