Velocity Boy

I've been looking at hundreds of different wheels. I'm definately going with chrome because my car is a daily driver and don't want the hassles that come with maintaining polished wheels

I have yet to find a reasonably priced chrome wheel with a deep lip. Seems like all the chrome wheels are flat flaced with no dish (Z06's, Zr1's etc..) I definately can't afford CCW or Iforged or any other premier wheels, so those are not an option. I guess painted wheels would be ok but my car is black, and chrome wheels look so damn good on black cars.

Is there such a thing as a fair priced deep dish chrome wheel? I'm looking to spend no more than $1000 for a whole set of 17x9.5's or 17x9's

Not really.

You might be able to find something from Billet Specialties, Intro, HP Designs but I think for a lip like you're wanting your budget needs to increase a bit more in order to facilitate this.

TTIIs could work, but I seriously dont know how many 9/9.5" wheels there are with a lip like Im thinking you want...

Yeah, I love how the TT2's have the stepped lip, looks great, but I hear that they're a pain to keep up with. Maybe clearcoat would help but I've also heard of problems with that too

some ones to really look into are the HP evo, hpr5 and ruff 278... i think those would look awesome on a black z28. especially the ruff 278, they look awesome and i have yet to see them on a f body

wait a minute... are you looking for stepped lip wheels or flat lip wheels? cuz the ones i listed dont have stepped lips, but rather like 3.5" flat lips.

also, forgot to mention hp evo and hpr5 dont come in chrome, but i believe the rest do. and the rpm 505 is the same as hp evo, but it comes in chrome.

I would prefer the stepped lip (like on the TT2) looks so awesome especially on lowered cars. The flat lip wheels are cool too. I was just looking at that sportmax wheel and it looks very similar to the fikse fm5
