Here's my new track shoes for those interested in how Convo Pros look:

The rears are 15x7.5, the tires are MT ET Street radials, size 27x9x15. I seriously doubt I could have gotten a 28" tire on there without modifying the fenders and the wheel well part of the rear bumper cover. There's like maybe a half inch of clearance in the back.

Looks good!

Are you meaning they are the et street radials in a 255/60R15 that equals a 27x10.50R15 on their website? I looked and didnt see a 27x9 on there...regardless I didnt even think to run that size, good idea man. Is your car lowered at all? I wonder if theyd clear with DMS springs...Ive already cut the inner edge of my fender lip to fit the 315s...hmm

An adj. panhard bar would help center the rearend from side to side, and adj lower control arms would help center the wheel in the fender from front to back if you wanted to get a little more clearance on the backside by the bumper.

Yeah, they're the 255/60/15s. The "9" I was giving was the tread width, not the tire section width... But yeah, it should equate to 27x10.5x15 going by tire section.

That's a fairly new size from what they said... I like it because it's a step up from the 26" tires I was running before, but not as big a leap as a 28" tire would be.

My car has the SLP level 1 kit, which is Bilstein shocks and Eibach springs. But the actual height is maybe a 1/2" lower than stock.

man those convo's looks sweet !! i love the way they tuck under your fenderwell . the perfect fit . i'm ordering a set for the rear myself this week. but i think i'm going with the 275/50r/15 tire cause of the tire diameter. i want the 26 inch tire cause i still have the stock gear in the car (3.23 ). i have set set of telstars for the front. so the look won't be that far off.

Thanks! I went with the 15x7.5s because with the backspacing, a 15x8.5 would have stuck out just a little too far out of the wheel well for my liking. 15x7.5s with the 255/60/15s is just about as perfect a fit as I could have asked without having to modify the wheel well and/or buy a more expensive wheel.

Plus, MT lists the spec wheel width for those tires to be 7"-9", so the 7.5" wheels were enough.

Judging by that pic of yours, you just might be lifting a wheel with more traction in the rear and lighter wheels up front.
