19/18...... bad idea?

I am thinkin of runnin 19's in rear and 18's up front, what do you guys think? Will it take away from my performance at all? Are 19's too big?

That's what I have and it looks great. Handling is awesome with Pirelli P Zero's, but what sucks is that you cannot get a drag radial in that size.

I don't want drag radials just a good set of street tires that can hook up real nice

It'll be fine. You'll just lose some traction and have to spend more $$$ on a tire.

with the right rims and lowering 18/19 is my favorite wheel combo. Go for it man. What rims did ya have in mind?

I went with the 18" rear due to the drastic increase in tire price for the 19".

I did run an 11.35 @129.8 with the everyday 295/35/18 Kumhos. I agree that it will affect performance but I also think a lot of people exagerate how mutch. Most any street car will not hook on the street reguardless if its a stocker or full blown strip car.

I am plannin on goin with the C6 Chrome Motorsports, I know ill do 18's up front but not sure if 19's in rear will make me all show and no go? And thats not what I want, but I just dont get how the vettes are running 19's and even the C6 Z06 runnin 20's in the rear (so ive heard)
