BFH Question - Rust?

BFH Question - Rust? Everybody seems to do the BFH mod, but nobody ever seems to mention whether they leave the metal bare or whatnot. Shouldn't I be worried about rust if I do the BFH mod? Also, what kinds of coats (paint, primer, etc. etc.) do you guys use to cover up the BFH'd area? Thanks.
There is some stuff you can buy at your local parts store that'll cover it up. I can't remember exactly what it's called but it'll be in the paint and prep area where all the bondo and chemicals are at. It's some kind of undercoating. Most people will tell you it'll blend right in and you won't be able to tell much.
