Thanks for the insight. Next time I want to buy some more parts I think I'll call them up crying that I'm poor and expect some sympathy. WAH!! I WANT THE NICE WHEELS FOR THE SAME PRICE AS THE CHEAPO WHEELS!! As for paying retail, what are my other options? My point was that I am happy with my purchase and I would do it again. The Brooklyn Bridge reference was cute though.

I was already looking at the Bogart "road racing" series as a possible option for the street (even though they say they are NOT for the street). I would defitely be interested in a street option by bogart.

I would like the pro star without grinding. Love the look...and cost.

But will be ordering a set of rear bogarts soon, cause they fit.

I know as soon as I get Bogarts, Prostar will be avaliable for our backspace

edit: just got a set of bogarts....

Go Bogart, or get out your grinder, buy spacers, and extended wheel studs.....hmmm. I went Bogart, and they are the nicest drag wheels I have ever owned. Worth the extra $$$.

I was going to buy Bogarts Bolted R/T's, but I got a Hella deal on some Weld Magnums. The 15x3.5 with 1.75 BS fit on the front with no issues, and the 15x10 with 7" BS fit on the rear, tho I had to use 1/2" spacers, which is pretty normal. See pics....

Yes, I have the Eibach Pro Kit, and those are 27x11.50 Hoosiers. Kinda dispells all those rumors huh?

Thanks John. I wasn't sure how these would look. I LOVE the wheels, but was worried about putting them on a red car.

Nope. Got at least .1" clearance. But you do have to put any tape weights all the way to the inner edge to clear the calipers. You should also use the McGard 61007 lug nuts on the rear wheels to penetrate the spacers.

Both are a very good choices. You won't go wrong with either wheel.

Considering price, I think you'll find how I'd design them for your Strange brakes will be a better choice. Weight will be very close so its a moot point. It depends on the style wheel that you choose as well as how we build them. We can build wheels which are lighter then alumastars fwiw.

A large advantage with our designs, if you bend the one-piece alumastar, you'll have one large paperweight on your hands...our wheels are for the most part repairable. We fully support our products we manufacture and design.

I can offer you a few suggestions for what your considering. E-mail me with your specific requirements or goals and I can try to direct you to the best solution. Being a Bogart customer does have other advantages with us.

Let me know if I can be of futher assistance.
