That definitely sucks man, but as the saying goes: "Measure twice, cut once!". Before doing ANY cutting/grinding/drilling, you should have verified the measurements. Did you try and see if Summit would help you out at ALL since the boxes were mis-labeled?

We did verify the measurements, but me being a retard and not thinking thought it was a 4.5, even though I knew it was a 4.75 because I did my rears. I contacted them, waiting for a response back.

So the box says 4.75 or 4.5? If the box says 4.5 you are SOL.

It says 4.75. That's why I never measured it. I believe the wrong wheels were placed in the right box. Nothing I can do about it now though. I'll just hang em on my wall or somethin.

Ohh, I mis-read your original post. I thought you meant you ordered 4.75, but the box said 4.5 and you never checked it. If that is the case then I would definitely get on the phone and try to see if you can get ANY sort of compensation from Summit, because although the wheel is useless, the problem originated in their side. If the box says 4.75 you would assume a 4.75 wheel. Have they said anything to you yet?

Not yet, but I got a buddy of mine with a Mustang to buy them for full price. They fit fine. I used the same size drill when I drilled it, so you can't even tell. Everyone wins! I'll double check the new set I ordered!

I sure hope you told him you drilled them, because if not and he found out otherwise he'd owe you a serious *** whoopin'. There could be potential safety issues there.

I would never run them, but if he is aware of it and doesn't mind, then at least you'll get some $$$ for them.

Like I said, I didn't drill the holes big enough. I basically took a dremel and rounded off a little of the inside. I didn't take a huge drill, and start drilling the bolt holes. I think the size was 11/16 bolt holes, that's the size I used. A lug nut fits inside the hole just as tight as it did on the other set. I only did it through the back, and not the front.
