how wide are the 315 sumiotomos?

Default how wide are the 315 sumiotomos?

my bfg dr's are on there last leg. how much thinner are the sumitomos compared to bfgs?

You want the width from the edge of the outer sidewall to the edge of the inner sidewall? Or do you want the width of the tread?

sidewall to sidewall compared to bfg 315's.

My 18 inch 315 BFG's are about 12 inches wide, dont know about the sumitomos tho.

wide enough. i got them, but i'm not going outside and measuring them, i will tomorrow

It's been about three years but from what I can remember they were about an inch wider than my Nitto drag radials so that should put them close to your BFG's. The best part about them other than being cheap was that I ran 1.8 on them and they last for a long time. I think I got about 25K out of them.

and they sure like to smoke but they dont "hook" as well as pretty much any other 315 or 275 DR

they look good though good for street and so far seem pretty good in rain

I'd say about the same as a BFG as far as width.

The Sumitomo's have a section width of 12.6" and a tread width of 11.5" as per the Tirerack site.
