Boyd Coddington....
I know I know he may be a jerk on T.V. but I like some of his wheels. Has anybody owned a set from him recently. I know back in the day(about 10 years ago lol) he was considered big deal in the hot rod industry. I like a couple of his wheels. One being I'ts a "forged multi-piece wheel" Which is what it seems like a lot of people are going with these days. And another one is this one, its just a wheel, aluminum I am assuming. I just wondered if anybody has boyd wheels and if they like them or not. I think I will be going with either one of these wheels, and between the two, which ones do you guys like the most?

I would not run any polished wheel on a daily unless you like polishing them all the time. I have the Boyd Osiris (last picture) and they are a bitch to keep clean not to mention the way the rim is made has a channel in the wheel hoop trapping water. Driving in the rain actually throws off the balance of the wheel causing the stearing wheel to shake.
Now don't get me wrong they are some badass looking rims though

I have Timeless II wheels. I love them. handle great no problems there and they do look great (not all of them though...) really hard to keep clean but with proper polish and the right flik of the wrist they look amazing.

I've got Boyd Rebels from the Signature Series and love them. I have had them for about a year now and since they aren't daily driven, I don't have much trouble keeping them clean. I believe they sold the wheel business to American Racing, but I could be wrong. You can ask Discount Tire Direct, I think they can get you a good deal on them. I got mine from the local Discount Tire store. I say get'em.
