I hope not. I'm waiting payment for my wheels to come before I can buy the anthracite. Money order should be here Tuesday. Hope they stay at $739 for the same size combo. After all that was/is the price listed and it's not even been 30 days. He said he would honor those prices for awhile

That would severely suck. Lots of us are just waiting for a paycheck or payment for our current wheels to get these. Now it looks like i'll have to get other wheels somewhere else. If Tom is reading, please don't raise the rates at least until it has been a month. I have been waiting for this deal for quite some time.....

Besides I read somewhere on here that the original prices would be here for "a while" , maybe 10/7 or so would be a good time.....

Wow you people complain about 100 bucks difference(or 140 in the case of the anthracite wheels)? I had my cousin call american racing(he sells their wheels at his shop, and works directly with them) and his price alone was 201 per wheel for the 17x9s. even at 839 it still seems like an amazingly fair price!(regardless of color...I mean tomzwheels has to make a profit somehow!) the prices he charges sometimes seems unreal compared to just bout every other company!(when i got my tt2s, i got them at cost to my cousin, and they were about the same price tomzwheels sells em for)

With your car being a 95, the stock springs are probably sagging just a tad so you might be able to get a really good stance by going with new Koni SAs utilizing the lower spring perch on the front and doing the heater hose mod in the back. This will drop your car 3/4" and if you aren't satisfied with the ride height, you can always buy new springs afterward. Koni SAs are great shocks and would be able to handle the spring rate for most all of the lowering springs available on the market. Although the Koni's are a bit more expensive, you get what you pay for. I used Koni SAs and stock springs on my car and I'm still able to get over those nasty speed bumps. Just something to think about.

This is exactly why I got mine as soon as I saw them for sale. They are a very nice wheel and look great. I cannot wait to see them on a T/A!! Get them while you can!

Well $100 difference is a big amount to me. I'm not independently wealthy and am the only one supporting myself. I don't have a $70k plus job, have to pay rent, food, gas, and car insurance. I also don't live with my parents as alot of people do these days. Although I'm not rich I do enjoy some luxuries like a nice set of wheels every now and then.

But this is besides the point.....who wants to pay more if they dont have to? The price given was just that... a special for forum members and was suppose to "for awhile". I dont think anyone was saying Tom couldnt make a profit its just that people should honor what they say. And who really knows if there will be a price increase. That person they spoke to that posted here could be wrong.

Cool mustang wheels

Ain't puttin no ford wheels on my Chevy ! To each his on . Whats next, a ford engine in a Chevy body ? TT'2s still look better. Polished aluminum will always look better than chrome. Besides , hey, you ever hear of buffing wheels or mother's alum. polisher ? Yes ,it may take a little effort on your part if you just have to have the shinest wheels but the ones on my truck are 6 or 7 years old & have never been polished & I still get compliments on them all the time. Just spray em with armor all alum wheel cleaner & hit em with high pressure car wash & they look freshly polished.Oh, & by the way, american makes chrome TT2' s but grab your wallet!

As I stated above, they didn't have the wheels available. With this knowledge, it seems quite odd that they would raise the price before they even get more than one set sold to the public.

LMMFAO, Mustang looking wheels? I may as well get GT badges on mine. Polished aluminum looks better than chrome? That's about the funniest thing I've heard in a while. Keep telling yourself that!

So why do you polish them again? Oh wait, to make them look like chrome.

LMMFAO!! Thats great.

Now here's what I don't get. The only difference between the TT2's and TTM's is a stepped lip and availibility in chrome. So are the TT2's Mustang wheels and the new TTM's Mustang GT wheels? They are practically the same wheel.
