Whats required to get 17x11 ZR1's to fit
Well instead of being a dumbass and putting 315 nitto's on my 9.5" wheels, I decided to buy some 17x11 ZR1's off ebay. What if anything am I going to have to do to get these to fit? They are 50mm offset. I did a search, and some people say they put on 17x11 wheels with no modifications, while other people pound the inner fender and roll the lips. My cars stock height, 17x11 50mm offset, and I'm going to run 315 nitto's, can anyone with this combo chime in?

I am running the same combo. Just make sure to have an adjustable panhard rod. My car is lowered and if I hit a hard dip or a weird angle it will barely scuff the right rear tire on the wheel well lip.
I also had to tap the inner fender just a tad on a few spots. Some will say to remove or grind the bumpstops. I left mine alone.

From what i have read, with Nitto's you should be fine. Otherwise, I would suggest a double rod ended adj panhard bar for sure, BFH and possibly a fender roller. I had to BFH quite a few times and had to roll my fenders. I'm running GSD3's, probably the widest 315 out there and finally got them not to rub. I took a few other precautions, I went to Z28 bump stops and grinded the bump stop mount down a bit. I also went to DMS rear springs to take me up to 27.0" RH. Just info in case you switch to another brand 315 down the road.

Yeah...if you lift the car without supporting the rear end the wheels will hang up on the bumpstop, actually on the metal tab the bumpstop is bolted to.
Here are the requested pics:
Before: Suspension is compressed in the picture
After: Suspension is on full droop on a regular lift
It's a hassle if you work with the car on standard lift, coz then you have to use some sort of other method to jack up the rear end so the wheels will clear the bumpstops. That's pretty much the only reason why mine were cut out. My dealer did this free of charge believe it or not! They were tired of the hassle....lol!
Just drive careful with those big tires on there, avoid getting the car airborne and big dips in the road. Also, passengers in the rear will cause some tire slicing if you don't roll your fender lips. And a double adjustable panhard bar (for ease of adjustment) is also a great idea, I got mine from UMI Performance and it is their rod ended piece.

I had to leave my bumpstops. The car has bottomed out on them so many times, I'd hate to take them off. The roads around here are a joke anyway, so it's best for me to leave them alone.
