BTW unless you are lowered over an inch then your fenders will not have to be rolled. I took a huge railroaf track and my buddy watched the suspension and the rear tires were 1 1/2" from hitting the fenders. No lip rub.

Been through KD's, Sumi's, and now Nittos; still in search of traction (with a little wear time)...

These tires are AMAZING. They are $107 each at Tirerack and I don't spin second or spin sideways an slow hard turns anymore. They hook up on the street like nobodys business. Did I mention $107 a piece?
give them about a month and those hard *** tires will be spinning and spinning. I didn't even use mine half way before I ditched them for some BFG KD 315s... worlds better.

You're kinda lucky I guess. Took some work for me to fit my 17x11s, but then again I'm running GS-D3s and lowered with a Pro-Kit. I had to pound the hell out of my fenderwell and roll my lips (which I did by myself with a rubber mallet and a wooden dowel to get it going).
By the way, you can't ever go wrong with chrome ZR1s. No matter how many people have them, they never get old to me. Looks awesome man!!

The tool I used I borrwed from a friend, it is from Eastwood tools. It costs around $250 I think, anyways it has a heat gun, like a hair dryer. You blast the car until it is almost hot to the touch and then roll away.
Peace,
Craig.

Let me enlighten you on where to get your wheels/tires.
http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...03&rd=17&ar=35
$174 a peice. My friend has an 04 Cobra and swears by them, he has bought 2 set of tires/wheels from them so far.

^^ The thread is talking about BFG KD's. Not 555R's.

I got mine from DTD though, although they aren't listed on their website.
Ryanmgaspard, I promise I'm not trying to be rude, but the reason your having such good luck with the Sumitomos would be because you have some heavy 17x11, a heavy tire, and very few mods. Once you get to about 330ish, or even on the power your at now once the tires start to wear, its gonna be ice.
