Well I usuallly like rims with a lip too. But I want to go for that real clean look. I want the car to look like it could almost be stock. THis car really caught my eye.
I wanted to go chrome at first, but seeing these painted ones really made me think.

[QUOTE=LS1obsession]I think 17" C6's look better.
I like the 17's too. I found the 17x8.5's for the front on tomzwheels. I'm currently looking a pair of 17x11's for the back.Anyone know where they can be found?

[QUOTE=68LS1WANNABE] I wish. I've looked everywhere and from what I can tell, they don't come in 17x11. 18x10.5 is the closest I've found. Too bad the 19x12's won't fit.

I think they look great as well. I did 18*9 on all fours running P285/35/18 so I could still rotate.

I found a company to widen the 17x8.5 to 11.5's. www.weldcraftwheels.com
only problem is they want $165 per wheel to widen. If you have to buy the wheels that puts them at about $330 per wheel. Might as well get a custom billet wheel.

The car belongs to 2001FireBird. Here is the thread with more pics from about a month ago:

They are 17" x 9.5". As far as tires, I'm not sure. You could PM 2001FireBird and ask him.
