I am liking the 19F/20R look. And I have to chime in on the old school comments...
I consider my self in the "gap" between old and new (35), but the funny thing is that my truly old school friends (around 40-45 who would never even consider an import) all are pushing for 20's on my T/A. The thought is to follow the industry (yes industry, not the ghetto) trend of larger rims to keep the car loooking fresh and up do date. Examples...the SRT8 vechicles come stock with 20" and Porchshe/Corvette/Viper have 19" (at least on the rear). In this day and age where our expectations are for cars that not only perform but also look hot, larger wheels give the updated look with negligble day to day performance penalties (except of course for extreme racing case). And by the way, i do plan to keep my stock 17" for track use. I guess to sum it up, if everyone kept thinking "old school", we would still be running 15" rims with 70 series bias ply tires
Peace.

I think it looks great.. If you are not draging.. who gives a ****... Ive been thinking about doing it... I think as long as there is a big lip its a great look.. Everyone else is in an older generation... If you want old school buy an old car... Im not saying go out and buy some lexanis or anythign to that extent but any racing rim would look great
+ 1 just no pimp rims I would go with 19s if I had the money. I like these's
http://customwheel.com/custom_wheels...ducts_id/11257
or these
http://www.weldracing.com/wheels/det...Alloy%20Chrome

http://customwheel.com/custom_wheels...t.php/cPath/21
and

I found a whole lot of cool alternative rims. Check this thread.

I had gotten tired of them and needed something different. I had thought about getting a new set of wheels for a while, and a member on here actually emailed me out of the blue and offered to buy them.
So sometimes, you need a change. Don't get me wrong, I still think the Evo's look good, but these look just as good, but in a different sort of way.
For every 20 compliments I got on the evo's, I had someone say that they didn't like them.
Now that I switched wheels, for every 20 compliments I've gotten on the new wheels, one person has said they liked the Evo's better. Not a bad ratio I guess. I'm wondering if it goes beyond just the wheels and it's the whole package that looks good. From the color matched vents behind the front door, to the lowered stance, to the removed side molding.... I've always gone for the clean look.

I've had the 19/20 combo on both my TA's. Pics in links in my sig.
They really are for looks, ride is noticably stiffer (but you feel more connected to the road) and traction sucks (so on my 95 TA I am trying 345/25 R20's on the rear)

Any wheel size up to 20" can be mede look good if you find the right wheel for the job and have good taste. Ive seen horrid examples of wheels in your beloved 17" and 18" sizes. With these wheels I chirped tires jut as easy and even have better traction. Of course these tires are way better than the 17"s I used to run!
