How long do your BFG KD's last?
Well I have KDW's up front right now and 555r's out back but I'm sick of how the nitto's wear out the centers even running them at 17psi. And it would be nice to have a tire that doesn't roll over in the corners, so for my new 11" ZR1's I'm thinking of getting BFG KD's. How is the traction on them too? And how long are they lasting for you. I could handle paying the extra $100/tire if they last alot longer than the nitto's and still get decent traction. And does anyone have pics of the 315/35/17 kd's?

I've had mine for a long time now. I daily drive the car and I would say I have about 20k+ on them. I haven't been rough on them though I drive pretty easy with these tires. They are finally down to the wear bar and it's time for some new ones.

^yup that about sums it up. My bro has 423rwhp and cant really hook in first, but hooks pretty well in 2nd. KD's will probably be the best traction tires you can buy short of radials/slicks. His first pair of rears went out at 15K miles with yearly trips/burnouts at the track and will be the only tire he runs on the street.
KD 315's will def run you a heafty amount of $ $ $ though.

I have less than 400 but my car doesn't hook at all. If I go from a roll on the highway and shift into 3rd the wheels will spin a little bit. In 1st and 2nd from a stop just forget about it

I actually love my KDWS tires. I got them from tire rack last year. They still look great & I drive them pretty briskly. Every morning when I pull out onto the highway I just lay on it thru fourth. First can be controlled by feathering & then second just hooks.
I like the traction they give me in the snow & rain also. No other tires I have had has done as good in all elements. They are great for a daily driver, but if your lookin for performance there is better alternatives.
My first set that was on the car when I bought it lasted a year of hard driving & several trips to the track. I did the typical new owner burnouts & figure 8's in parkin lots & they still lasted longer than I ever expected.

Mine lasted a bit longer but were 275's and rotated. By the way wet traction isn't the best if that matters. Otherwise a great tire. I like the GS-D3 a little more due to wet traction and a bit better straight line traction (when it's warm).

I'd say since you won't be rotating them expect somewhere around 15,000 miles from them, spirited driving (no major burnouts)

What did you keep the air pressure at with the D3's? I noticed a significant loss of traction with both tires when they were above 33 or 34 psi (tire places fill them up way too much)
