Just did this job myself yesterday. In the process of replacing front rotors and pads decided to replace front studs with longer ARP studs. Will need to remove the front hubs from spindle which is held on by four bolts and also the ABS connection. The service manual specifies a special tool (J 6627-A) for stud removal. Did not have access to this tool, but used a vertical hydraulic press to both press-out and press-in the new studs. Due to the configuration of the hub you will need to have the hub properly supported while in the press. The whole job took about 2 hours.
