if by "weather" you mean occasional snow and freezing temps, you don't want drag radials during the winter.

i would go with the nitto 555 street tires.
i have the falkens and the suck *** in the rain. plus the look really narrow on the car.every one says nittos run small and they do but the falkens run even smaller.
i have 275-40-17's and they look like a 245-45-17. and the nittos have a lot better dry grip.555r's are good in the dry but in not shure in the wet.ill find out soom because i get me some soon and save them for spring

The Nittos do pretty good in the rain as long as they still have some tread. I would highly suggest a different tire if your car sees snow.

On cold, dry pavement a good max performance all season tire will hook better than a Nitto DR (unless you heat the Nittos with a 20 second cloud producing burnout). Remember folks, this is Joyzee in winter he's talking about, NOT Houston or Austin! We can see < 10 degrees with no snow (in fact, most of the time it gets that cold, it IS dry!!).

I have the Nitto 555 street tire and love them if you heat them up they are alomst as good as my buddy's BFG Drag radials that he has!

I can only speed to having an all season radial and the nitto DR. So far I would say the DR. You are not gonna get the best of both worlds. In most instances you aren't gonna get much traction with any tire in the snow with the cars we have. Sure the street tire or even moreso the all season radial would be better but you will give up dry traction. If you could afford to do I you might want to try to get a stock set of wheels (READ: cheap), and throw some all season radials on there. Then if the weather is good some weekends and you plan to go out and play, throw your other set of wheels and tires on there. Just my $0.02.

You should try the toyo t1s tire, that's as close to the best of both worlds as you are gonna get in my opinion.

I have Eagle F1 285/40/17's out back. When the weather is warm, they hook like crazy. Its almost impossible to break them loose on a hot day, even taking off hard. They are also excellent in the rain, I've never had a problem, even in downpours or on the highway.

However, they aren't nearly as good in the cold weather for traction, and they wear out pretty fast considering the price.

Out of the tires you have on the poll though, I'd choose the Nitto 555 street tires.

run the 555Rs but be careful in the wet....going on my third pair, got 15k out of this pair so far and their not done...they hook semi good, not as good as a bfg or a micky, 'specially on cold pavement, but like i said i also got 15k out them so there's give and take....i hate to advocate a ford place but Steeda has the best prices i've seen for 555Rs....

A M6 on regular street tires is pointless if you want traction. So then that leaves you with the nitto nt555R which not be to good during bad weather conditions. I myself choose the Falken Azenis RT-615 which do hook fairly good and so far have handled the rain good. They corner really well.

HA! They SHOULD corner really well, as they were built for high wear open track/lapping (road course) and Street Mod/Touring class autocrossing use!! The only problem is that their very stiff sidewalls will hurt your launch/60' somewhat. But their sticky compound (one of the stickiest NON R or drag radial tires) makes up for this everywhere else.

yea they 60' alright, not the greatest but pretty decent IMO. Ive cut many 1.9's and some low 2.0's with them. I know drag radials would 60' better but i didnt want any at this time. They have a pretty sticky compound and a stiffer sidewall than normal as you stated. They make the car a lot more fun to drive compared to the Yokohama AVS ES100's that i had before.

i would go with the nitto's as well, great grip and and they are affordable. But if you are going to be driving in all season weather go with the falkens
