Default $3000 better looking???

Been contemplating these (or very similar) wheels for a few weeks now. I love the wheels, but not sure if it's really $3000 nicer looking. I have them in reverse order.. but what do you think?

These are the actual wheels. They are not CCWs. They're Diamo.. and much cheaper.. but still would be close to $3000 with tires.

pictures never do CCWs any justice. in person they look amazing, but on a C5 i would go with the sp20s or the sp16s. they will stand out more.

but even the sp500s will make your vette stick out like a sore thumb...a very sexy sore thumb

factory "magnetic red".. almost the same color as the 50th anniv... and the new Monterey Red. The BSM... I'm still in the air with.

I like both the 16s and 20s but I want the deep dish with chrome. My days of polishing wheels is loooong gone.

Cheap out on the wheels, and it'll usually look like you cheaped out on the wheels. I wouldn't even consider the Diamo wheels if they only go up to 8.5" wide. I've seen Vettes riding on skinny wheels, and it just doesn't look right.

I agree 100% skatinjay27 and MeentSS02. Also I think 505's look great on C5's, or SP500's.

Word, I like the SP500s 10x more than the 505As for some reason... maybe because nobody has 'em really.

Here's an example....I cheaped out and got the Z07 wheels at first

Then I realized that the CCWs were worth spending money on:

Yeah, they cost more...but they look great, and really look stunning in person, with the polished barrels etc...

Those CCWs look 1000x better than the chrome Z06s. Im going through the same thing right now, except I'm going with the SP500s, just trying to decide between an all polished wheel and a wheel with black spokes.
