I know a guy who should beat all those prices. Same group of friends that did my wheel bearings for $75+parts

KDWs.

GSD3s in stock size are definately cheaper than $300. They ride like garbage, and wear like crap. Very easily chopped, even with stock alignment specs. They also balance up on the machines HORRIBLY. We won't sell them anymore. But get the occasional know it all, who has them drop shipped to us anyways.

Then low and behold, we end up dismounting them, and sending them back to tire rack. It's happened 3 times in the past 2 months with this particular tire. I think it's pretty funny.

A lot of people are happy with them running them on these cars. But then again, a lot of people aren't as picky about road noise, ride, and road feel as our customers... There's a ton of people out there that think nothing of their steering wheel shaking out of their hand at 50-60 MPH LOL.

Oh, and don't pick a tire because you think the tread pattern looks cool. That's rediculous...

What is this locking lugnuts thing your talking about? Not sure what you're talking about. The stock WS6 wheels have acorn lugs, with black caps that screw on over the lug itself.

Well you would definitely know more than I would! Do you have any experience with BFG KD's?

He was saying that he really liked the tires on the Z28 and thought they would look good on his WS6. I think he said that so no one would think he was gonna steal them.

Some f-bodys did come with locking lug nuts. both my SS and WS6 both had them. And they had the little black cap that screwed over them also.

Not from factory they didn't. That was something you could have bought in the parts department I was pretty sure.

Trust, The BFG GForce TA KDs are a kick *** tire. Especially for the price. I run Michelins, but if I were in a position to save a few bucks, that's what I would choose.

They are still a little pricey, but they are also one of the best performing radial tires out there.

Ditto and ditto. I can vouch personally and on behalf of several other friends.

Dang, man, seems the fence is VERY DIVIDED on GSD3's. I can get them for $160 a tire (friends are nice to have) in 275-40-17.

I can get a deal similar on pretty much anything. I dunno, I am considering KDW2's at this point now. I dunno. I want AWESOME wet traction as well as dry and road noise is NOT COOL

My current KDW's are chopped to hell btw. NOT IMPRESSED. Both front and rear.

Well...1 for the GSD3 anyways. I like the way they look and they get rave reviews on tirerack.com as well as being ahead in my poll here. That coupled with the fact that I can get them for $160 a pop inspires me.

I love my GSD3s except for one reason: even though they are 275 width just like the stock tires, they are a good 2 inches wider. This causes them to rub in the front when I turn sharply. I like everything about the tires themselves, but if I had to do it over again, I would go down to 255s in the front just so they don't rub.

Schweet! I'd say they were a good investment then!

The GSD3's are my vote. I have them in the 315's on the back. The wet traction(hydroplaning, acceleration, etc.) with these tires is unbelievable considering the width that I have them in. Cornering is excellent also. They are not the best dry cornering tire out there, but if you have some need for wet traction these are an excellent compromise. With proper alignment and tire pressure you should get MANY miles out of them. I have had zero problems with mine.

I run Pirelli P Zero Nero M+S on the front of mine in the 275/40/17 size and I see where they have rubbed on the inner fender well ever so slightly(I do have TT II rims). These in my opinion are a kickass tire for all around dry and wet traction also. My plan is to use up two sets of GSD3's on the back for one set of the longer lasting and cheaper Pirelli's. These have a treadwear rating of 400.

I am very pleased with the setup I have chosen. I made this decision after seeing many many different combinations on F-body's. For a daily driven summer car, I would say this is the best bang for the buck setup available.

I have 275/40/17 BFG KD's on the fronts. They run just as wide at the GS-D3's, and only rub on hard cornering, normal and spirited driving is just fine.

Sadly GSD3's are out as they are on backorder everywhere until the apocolypse. I guess this leaves BFG KDW's unless my contact can get me some Michelin PS's for "cheap"

If you can find 3 somewhere, I've got an extra that I would sell you...haha

You might check Wal-mart...they are pretty cheap and can search nationwide. And I know they carry them.
