Nothing to do with the bumpstop, but that sounds like some BFH is needed to massage the inner wheel well.

The purpose of the SLP BS extender is to lower the bumper, which reduces the axle travel upwards, thus should reduce the chances of the tire contacting the wheel well.

I never made contact with the bumpstops with the stock wheels on any of my 4th Gens, so when I tried to mount my 17 x 11 ZR1s (Nitto 315s) and they said, 'we're not havin it'...I chopped those ******* right off. I had the stock Panhard bar and the rear was centered, but I got the adjustable anyway...only issue i had turned out to be worn springs and shocks, i replaced those and things have been dandy ever since.

The only thing Im afraid of when cutting the bump stops is, what if I go in a Big O' pothole and my wheels hit the inside of the fender?
My shocks and springs look like they need replacing....

Cool

Can someone help me or give me some BFH advice ???

How much can I hammer ??? I was looking at the wheel wells and it looks like if I hammer too much byt the bump stop, the body metal might hit the springs.

I bolted up my ZR'1 without any hammering (at first). I drove around some looked at the inner tires and noticed it was rubbing..it was nothing bad at all. With the car on the ground I reached inside the wheel well and felt where the tire was close to inner well. I then lifted the car by the axle removed the wheel.. it took some minor hammering above the bump stop where it would actually make contact. Hammered it and then painted the exposed metal. No issues at all since. KEEP THE BUMPSTOPS.

If I had picture, I could show you exactly where it makes contact. I also have a double ajustable PHR and my rear is centered with the Eibach pro kit.

I hammered the **** out of mine and got pretty much nowhere. I suppose I could have used a sledge hammer, but I don't think that would have been a good idea. I'm just going to put a 1/4" spacer in with longer studs.

lol...stupid SLP. Minimum order requirement of $25.00. So they discount the kit from $25.70 to $23.15 to force you into buying something else expensive!
