My car is currently not lowered, so from pics I've seen if I could live with them sticking out I could still go with 36mm offsets (or even the oddball 38mm). While I at times like the look with em sticking out, I'm starting to more consistently lean towards the 50's at this point. The 36's look badass, but I'm afraid of the more damage potential if bottoming out. So, while I'm still actually giving the 36/38's some final consideration, I'll likely just live with the BFH mods and deal with it.

I'm anxious to see if I could do any clearancing to not need the 1/4" to 7/32" spacer up front when running 17x11's. Looks like I should join the F-Body Road Racing and Autocross Forums since more folks over there have run the 11's up front.

That and start my own thread. Didn't mean to do a little hyjack in this one .

I have other info and pics on that blue Camaro, it has 17x11 +36mm on all 4 corners, you can't fit a +50 on the front. It physically is not possible without a spacer, but at that point you may as well just use the +36, because it will stick out the same either way.
I've been saving up to copy it, the wheels run $800 / set, delivered, then the tires depends on what you choose, but the Goodyears are the widest-tread by far among the daily-driver 315/35s, and twice the cost of the Sumitomos, which are the narrowest-tread 315s on earth.
Mine's not lowered, and never will be, but because of that blue 'camaro more than because of the header / exhaust I chose to 454 my '94 rather than my '86, which can tuck an 18x10.5 under all 4 corners like my '94 can, but my '86 can't tuck a 17 wider than 9.5 up front.
Choices for 315/30R18s suck, and the cost is even higher than the Goodyear 315/35R17 street radials.
