How many miles do you get out of the 315s since they can be rotated?

Here is a link to an old thread when I though about getting 315's: LINK

I went with M/T ET Streets in 28" x 11.50" x 16" LT for the track. I will have pictures up shortly.

Do you mean since they CAN'T be rotated?
The trick is running the right air pressure in them so that the footprint is even. Too much air and the centers will wear out quicker than the edges and you lose a lot of tire life.
Different brands of tires wear at different rates plus it depends on the amount of wheel spin you commonly experience.
In order to rotate them you can take them off the rim and flip them top to bottom, then rebalance. That's what I did on the fronts, but it usually doesn't help for the rears.

Sorry for the dirty car. Have to love keeping black clean. Anyways these are larger than they appear in the photos. They are 28" x 11.50" x 16" LT. They rub the plastic rear bumper/quarter panel slightly. I will have to sand it down a bit. I will also have to massage (ie. beat in ) the wheel wells somewhat. They're not 315's, but I sure as hell like 'em.

Ooops! Yeah a local guy has some 9.5x17/11x17 TT2s real cheap the front tires are in great shape but the backs need to be replaced. I was thinking of getting some Sumitomos for the rear. I wish Nitto would make some 555s in 315s.

I plan on sanding down at least 1-2" now that I've looked at it more. Here's a quick photoshop:

I will make it come straight down or maybe even curve back a bit. How much do they usually expand? I'm not exactly sure, but will start another thread on this topic. I knew they expanded some, but not sure how much exactly.

Anyone else have to make clearance for 28" tires?
