Best 18x10" & 18x11" offsets for a WS6?
So, I may be ordering a set of CCW SP500's for my WS6
I gave CCW a call to see exactly what the offset's are that they normally build for these cars.
The gentlemen I spoke to stated the following:
Front - 18x10" 53mm
Rear - 18x11" 57mm
From the wheel sizing chart sticky above in this section it seems that would be a tad further in the wheel well than I would like. I'm wanting the wheels to sit flush with the fender and not stick out at all and not sit in too far. I just want it to sit perfectly and look great!
I also asked if they do an 18x9.5" rim, they stated that they could. I'm thinking of a 9.5" upfront rather than the 10" rim width as a 275 section width tire would sit better and it would also make my tire selection easier.
So, what would be the best offsets that I would be looking for in a 18x9.5"(f), 18x10"(f) and 18x11"(r) rim???
I'll most likely be running a 275/35/18 BFG KDW NT's up front and 315/30/18 BFG DR's out back

So the front @ 53mm would be good?
What about for a 9.5" front wheel?
Weird, if you look at pics in this recent thread HERE the rears look just about perfect, but the front's seem like the one's that could come out a tad

There's only one way to measure it, so I have no idea how those numbers could be correct in any way

BTW if you didn't already buy your tires I have some new 18" tires for sale
also work in LI so shipping costs would not be a factor.

If those are the offsets that CCW recommends go with them. John nows his stuff. I was worried about fit as well but chose to trust them. I got the wheels a couple of days ago 505a's and they look amazing. I put them on today and they fit great. I haven't driven it yet but it doesn't look like I will have to take a hammer to it at all. 18 x 10 and 18 x 11 for me. 275 front 295 rear Kumho MX's. Tires look great, nice and square. Rear sit flush with fenders. I am working on getting some pics loaded to a website so I can ***** my new purchase out a little.

How found anything out from john yet? Im debating on 10" wide in the front as well.
If my math is correct an using Xsta's car as an example. If I want to keep the same stance as his car with the 10" Fronts and 11 rear I would want to have a offset of approx. 44mm. I believe this would give the same look as Xsta's but I don't know if it would fit with out rubbing though.

Check out the fitment on my car.

The rears are standard TTII 17x11 with a 45mm offset (I think). I would say they stick out a little more than Xsta Z 28's rears, plus they barely fit. Had to beat insides and roll lip. So the offset must be just right. Any more or less would equal problems.
My fronts are the standard 9.5's (I don't remember the offset, but probably 46mm) and they seem to tuck in more, but don't forget about camber. I have 1* neg camber on each front so it pulls the tops in some. Figure all these things into the equation.
Judging by my car, I would say 10" fronts would be fine. Just add the extra 1/2" to the outside lip.

Sounds good
Funny you say your's stick out further, 45mm vs. 38mm would actually tuck in further
BTW, Where did you get the Pontiac crest that's on your rear taillight filler?

The badges where used on the nose of the grand am, vibe, sunfire and a few other pontiacs a few years ago. I just picked it up at the dealer.
