I've got them in 275s all around on my TA, seem to be pretty sticky, not much road noise, and they are Z-Rated. I like mine.

Do not do it. If you spend the extra 100 or 200 on a better set you will not be dissapointed. BFG's or maybe some D3's will suit you better. I have 275/40/17 Sumitomo HTRZ 2's and they suck. Very loud and do not hook well at all.

My buddy has some 315's on the back of his '02 GT and he is happy with them. They really aren't anything special, but they work well for his daily driver and the price was right.

I have the Sumitomo's in 275/40/17 (front) and 315/35/17 (rear) and you can't beat the price. Sure they are not the best tire in the world but certainly not the worst. And yea the GS-D3's are an awesome tire but in order to get them all the way around it would be about 1,100 bucks. And I'm sorry but I'm not spendin that much money on tires. Also, I don't feel like waiting till April 16th to get em either since they are on backorder till then for the 275's. For some reason though they have the 315's. Basically it all depends on how much money you are willing to spend for tires.

no experience with the sumi's.

I think your problem is that the tires could be tracking the lines in the road. The exact term escapes me at the moment but that sounds like the issue. I had this problem with my dunlop sp5000s in the front (horrible tire) and I have to fight the wheel in some situations to keep it straight on some roads. I have gs-d3's in back and love the tire but unfortunately could not source the sizes I needed for my new TT2's from Tomzwheels. I went with BFG KDW2's and the price was not insane in my book and the personal reviews were very positive. It may be a nice middle ground choice for you.

i have HTRZ II's and no its not the greatest tire like already stated, however for $96 a tire(plus tax/shippin)...its not to bad...hell if ur going to the track on a consistent basis then u need to spend more on the tires...but for DD thier great IMO

I have the 315 sumi's and they absolutly suck as far as racing is concerned. However when I bought them they were a great price and did what I needed them to do till I could get a better pair on the rear. REMEMBER, I learned this the hard way the tires are the only thing holding your car to the ground this is not the area to go cheap on. If you buy the sumi's dont, let me say that again DONT plan on driving hard.

**** yeah, I thought my car was broke when I put these **** tires on. Tread walk all over the place. I switched to bridgestone fuzions for almost the same price and it felt tons better.

I run the sumi 315s in back and 275s in front. Best tire money can buy.....as long as you buy then knowing you won't hook for ****. My car has a full spool and eats tires. The sumis are cheap, and perfect for cruising around. Just throw on the slicks when you need to run!

I've got the 315s and like it was said before, they don't hook for anything, and I'm pretty much stock Mine's a daily driver, so if that's all you want them for then go for it. If you're gonna do any kind of racing, opt for something else.

I cut a 1.90 60' with the HTRZ 2's on my old Z. Yeah they don't hook that great, but I only raced on them once, so I didn't care. They were great tires for the $$$, I never had any excessive road noise with them & they were great in the rain on my stalled A4...

On DicountTire right now you can get Sumitomo 275/40/17 for only $88 a piece and the 315/35/17 for only $99 a piece. So $374 plus shipping.
