Default To powdercoat or not to powdercoat

So now that the new wheels are on I really miss the look I had with the black ZR1's. I photoshopped some black centers on the new wheels to see what you guys think. Not only would it give me the look I was used to but it would be less area to have to polish when it comes time to do so.

I also plan on doing the CETA mod in gloss black and I think it would tie in better with black centered wheels than the all polished ones.

photoshopped

If they were chrome I would honestly probably leave them as they are, but they are polished and this is the daily driver so they are gonna need to be polished pretty often to keep them looking good.

The wheels would be powdercoated a nice gloss black so it would look nicer than the photoshopped pics.

I wouldn't get them chromed because of the cost factor. I have a crazy hook up on powdercoating so I won't pay more than $20 to get the centers powdercoated.

As long as it is a awsome powdercoating job.............wheels look good like they are, but if done right they would fit your car better.

It will definitely be a great powdercoating job not some home done stuff or something. I think I'm gonna put the ZR1's back on Monday and start taking these apart.

I love the look of those polished, but black still looks good and would be easier to maintain. Those wheels would look good in just about any color, but just my preference to leave them.
