Jason... looking good.
I really need to drop mine a hair as well, especially in the rear.
I think these wheels really give these cars an updated modern look.
I also get compliments on mine as well.
I was comming out of a shopping mall the other night and a guys said,"Those are some nice shoes you've got on there!!!!"

no... I've been meaning to do that(hose mod)... just haven't gotten around to it. Just not much free time on my hands.
I'm looking to drop only about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch.
I'm not looking to drop the frount. I think it is low enough anyway.

The 305/30 would probably work but are awefully wide for a 10" rim. Here are some pics of a Pirelli 295/30 on a widened 11" rim. https://ls1tech.com/forums/showpost....9&postcount=26
My particular 295's are a bit on the narrow side kind of like how the Nitto's tend to run narrow.

I do have a set of Prokit front springs for the LS1 cars. The rear springs on the Prokit are not that great as they are too low and soft. It's better to just do the hose mod with your stock springs. 70 bucks plus shipping.
If you still have stock shocks I would definetely replace them with better models. The stock shocks are really bad.
Are you sure you are going to need spacers with the wheels you want?

One minor note I wanted to mention. With my old tires I ran the Nitto RII 275/40/17 exclusively on the front at 40psi. I usually dial in a little bit of toe out to get rid of the dead spot in the middle of the steering wheel and to make the car respond quicker to steering input. With the new tires I'm running a bit less pressure, but the toe out is much more noticable at higher speeds. Freeway lane changes are a bit too quick and I had to overcorrect just a little. This was no good, so I put it back to zero toe and there doesn't seem to be a dead spot like with the other tires. So all is good now.

Did you sell them to get all 19's? 2 day parts doesn't show the 56 offset right now. Have you contacted them to ask about it? They may have sold their current supply and are expecting more later. That happens sometimes.
