A day with Fikse
A day with Fikse I went down to try on my new shoes the other day. I have ground/rolled rear fenders and was trying for 17x8.5 +38 255/45/17 up front and 17x9.5 +44 285/40/17 in back. Tires are GS-D3. Here's the results:

So, then I did a little testing to see if they were gonna rub.

So, now we've got some 275/40/17's coming. It's too bad the 285's rubbed.

i agree they look thick....kind of a bubbled sidewall....i liked the ones in your sig better..but thats just me not knocking the fiske's..i just like the five spoke design better...

Verdad Gallardo Thanks for the comments. I like the beefy, thick, look. That being said, the switch to 275s will reduce that look somewhat. They also make a lower profile 255 I might try in the front when these are due for replacement.
