My New BFG Drag Radials 295/35/18
I recieved my new BFG Drag Radials on thursday and put them onto my wheels on Saturday. WOW!!! I love these tires, i finally get to feel my first and second gears, without spinning tires like a maniac. Here are some pics of them:
** UPDATE 5/26/07 **
Well i took off the wheels today to see if theres been any chances of rubbing with the tires/wheel well. And theres been a bit of rubbing on the drivers side, but not to much. The passenger side though rubbed all the way to metal, basically the metal was polished from all the rubbing. I had to take a hammer to them, and spray painted the area i hammered in. Now after a week or two i'll take them off to see if more hammering is required. Here are some photos:
Driver Side Well & Inside Area of Tire:
Passenger Side Well & Inside Area of Tire (Bit More Rubbing):
I believe that the rubbing occurs when going over a speed bump, or when something that causes the wheel to go up into the wheel well more than normal.

they look great, how much did they cost, and what are you running up front. I am thinking of buying some, just wondering how long do they last and any danger factors

Before i was running some Hankook tires, but after 3 years and countless burnouts and drag racing they couldn't hook for ****. I believe they last about a year from what BFG says, but then again thats if you drive them normal. I think if you throw in some track time, with the occasional burnout then the expectancy drops a good amount. The front im just running some Bridgestone tires 265/35/18. The BFGs ran me about $489 shipped to my house, but then again the shop i ordered them from is in Orlando.
Honestly i think they were worth every penny, before my first and second gear sucked i would just spin. Now i can really feel the power the cam gave me through all the gears, before i would only be able to feel that in 3rd and 4th.

I updated my first post so that you guys can see how much rubbing i had on both sides. Also put pictures so you can see it wasn't to bad, i'll update it again in about a week or two to see if more hammering will be needed.

Nice. I also just purchased for the Z06 on the back. Going to make it to the track and see if I can't hit 11's. I had a pair on my fbody and they were a great tire. Don't last as long as nittos but, hook alot better.

They definetly hook thats for sure. Even with slightly slick roads my hankooks would spin with no effort. These on the other hand wouldn't even budge, they are great and worth the money.

I never take my back seats down, only time i ever did was when they put the tint on my back window. Besides my nitrous bottle is mounted on the transmission hump between the back seats.
