Update: looks like tomzwheels won't be shipping my setup until Friday or next Monday, so I probably won't have anything until end of next week. I'll go ahead and do my mods to the wheel well and pics before that.

Didn't notice if the wheels or going to be black or not. If so please post some pics cuz i've got a black ss and a set of black zr1s sitting in my basement. Just waiting for the money to buy the back tires. I've got the gs-d3s right now and I'm getting the 315s for the back. I'd love to see what my car is going to like before its done.

Also, i use to have that grinder but i think mine was a 5" and it gets the job done.. Really all youll need for miner grinding and cutting..

I got the same rims as Kage. I put them on without any mods and no phb. The body sat about 1 1/2" right of where it was supposed to be. Installed the adj phb and moved it over. Then it rubbed the bump stops. I had to completely remove the whole piece that connects the bump stops in place on both sides. I also made hard turns driving and heard it rubbing again so i beat the wells in a little where it was rubbing. I also have the skinnier sumitomo tires and they didnt rub but the rim rubbed where the bumpstop sticks out on the drivers side. The drivers side gave me the most rubbing. Just do it right the first time. Adj phb, remove bumpstops, and hammer the wells in where needed... my 02

Oh yeah, and to answer the other questions: after the mods I did to the wheel well I have had no fitment issues.

I'll invest in an adjustable PHB sometime in the future.

The guys just go done throwing mine on, and they didnt need to do anything to the silly wheel wells or bump stops. Again its been driven 4 miles now since then.. but if I notice any rubbing over the next day or to ill keep ya up to date.

Ill post pics when i can find the camera.

Trans-Ams have more room in the wheel well, plus GS-D3's run larger than most other 315's.

Once you've hit some bumps or taken some sharp turns you may notice rubbing. Keep a close eye on that since you don't want to ruin your tires.

The mods I did to the wheel well were simply a precaution that took a total of 30 minutes to complete.

I'm keeping mine black, but I think it would look good either way.

You prevention action taking bastage!! Haha well I appreciate ya reminding me to keep a close eye on it. I assume itll be rubbing on the inside and not the outside So itll be a little harder to tell. Withthe xhaust note and such I proly wont hear it rub.

Ill see if I cant go find a hard turn or a nice speed bump to jump over hehe.

Thanks again.

Leave the center cap black just throw some reflective red bowties or SS decals on.
Just had the F1's mounted on the Junk Yard Dogs today, picking them up tomorrow.
