Yea I have t say im rather impressed with the sumi's. They are still fairly new, and have great tread left and did fine in the rain last week or so. They get decent traction, TONS better than my old stock sized kdws all season tires hehe.

They are however much louder when spinning the tires, its a much higher pitched squeal as opposed to the much quieter fissssssss sounding kdws when they spun

Just picked up a set of BFG G-force TA KD's..I'll let you know how I like them when I mount them on Monday. I'd get the Nittos over the Sumitomos if I were you. Nittos are fine in the rain before they wear out, just don't drive like an ***. Sumitomos are pretty dangerous from what I hear.

I hear everybody brag about how great the 315 GS-D3s are, but I can't hook them very well. Here's a quick video of me spinning in first and second gear. Maybe my little heads/cam 346 is just a beast, LOL.

Cool vid.

Seriously though, no street tire is going to hook with over 400 horses. Summer performance tires will hook better than others but are not going to stick like slicks. By the way, what psi are your running in them.

32 psi is a good compromise of traction and tread wear. Have you found any better psi for traction?

With Nitto's (275's), I get the best traction and wear at psi between 16-22 lbs (cold). Any higher and the center crown wears past the tread bars while the outter vtread look s nearly brand new. Two pairs of MT Streeet drag radials wore the same with too much psi.

That's about what I run. 33 in the front, 32 in the rear.

lol, no offense but hard to compare a DR with a regular radial. Tires are made completely different. DR's are soft and made to flex hence why the crown of your tire was wearing. Too little psi in performance summer tire and the tire cups and actually lessens traction.
