Default Looking for something affordable...

I need to get a new set of rims because I had to drive in the winter for three weeks during January. Needless to say, my chrome rims are shot. So...

I was wondering what all your opinions are for a good-looking affordable rim? I would like to get 17x8s because that's what my current tires are for and I would like to re-use those. Anyone have any ideas? I keep finding the same old... same old. Thanks for your help.

I would suggest using the fronts off of a 97-99 corvette. The are 17 x 8.5 They call them wagon wheels. I have them on all 4 corners of my camaro.

I've never heard anyone recommend wagon wheels in any situation. I'm pretty sure they are the most hated wheels in existance.

I like them more than salad shooters, but not much else.

And what exactly is "affordable" to you? That's the variable here.
