By what measure do you deem Pirelli's to not be any good. Short of price, which is shocking, however I have never heard of them being a substandard tire for their assigned usage.

Goodyears and Pirelli's are junk. Square tire if you ask me. I fight more vibration problems than any other tire brand with those two.

At least that is something other than just random opinion. What kind of applications? In my opinion once you get into these type of high performance/low profile tires vibration is going to increasingly become unavoidable. Heavy construction with short sidewalls designed to resist deflection are going to be prone to vibration.

CTS's mainly. They came factory with Eagle RSA's. They wear horribly and vibrate.

Bridgestone Potenza RE760's. 275/40/17 F 295/35/18 rear. They are big and meaty, look like a 315 on the car, and hook great for the street. Except below 35*.
