Default Tread life for MT DR's on the street ?

I am thinking about ordering some black zr1's for my camaro and i plan on running an 11 in the rear so i can run some 315's....Anyways, form what i read on here, the mt's hook better than the nittos...Im sure that they wont last as long on the street as the nittos, but are they going to wear quickly? Let me know what the average use you guys have been getting out of the MT's

Apparently you only get a few hundred miles out of them if you're an idiot and do a 40 second long burnout but otherwise I've heard that they last for around 3000 miles. The BFGs will definitely last longer. My 16" MTs get sick traction but I've never tried the BFGs.

I have about 2200 miles and about 10 passes at the strip with my 275/40 MT DR's. They are down some tread but they are still at better then 50%. I had BFG DR's before and they lasted about the same, but didn't hook as well as the MT's. Keep in mind that I also have street races on my current tires as well as a spool so I think they are wearing quite well.

I was talking to a friend of mine and a well known member on here, and he said that they might last longer than Nittos will because you dont have to do huge burnouts to get them to stick like you would with Nittos. He said on the street you might not have to warm them up much if any for them to be sticky enough.

if you do stupid burnouts (not needed) you wont get **** for milage out of them. you dont need a big burnout to hook. i have seen guys go 4-5K miles on them that werent stupid with it. also seen guys with 50+ passes (10 second cars).
