you can run the same size tire on both and you shouldnt have issues either way as the stock wheels on mine were 17x9 and i currently have 17x9.5 z06 so take your pick.. Look more at the offset and do some math, see if it makes up for the extra 1/2 inch then youll know where your tire will be located in the fender.. you want it to run a little inside.

Im assuming you're buying replicas? If so, they dont make replicas in 17x9. Only GM made 17x9s. So problem solved. 17x9.5. I think they look better anyways.. wider is better.

17X9 will have a better turning radius other than that no advantage really......you can run a 255/40 on the 9in wide rim, 17X9.5 you will need a 275/40(a more expensive tire) so I would get the 17X9 rims for the front

275s look better than 255s. the difference in price is small. also, 275s are easier to come by.

I think 255's look way better, a smaller tire on the front will make the bigger tires in the back look that much better and with goin with the 255's you will save like $25 a tire.....worth it IMO

umm... just dont be cheap..
get 11s in the rear.. 9.5s in the front.. you will be able to tell the difference. $25 a tire is worth it? LOL.. thats only a few more $$$ a month of usage.I like wide all the way around.. Looks mean.
