Default Why do 315's look funny on some F-Bods???

I'm finally ordering a set of TT II's in a couple of days. Is there anyone out there that thinks 315's look kinda funny? Or is it just the angle of the pictures that I have seen. In some pics, they look good. But in most of the pictures I have seen, it almost looks retarded. Anyone out there got some good angled pictures of TT II's with 315's? Preferably on a TA that isn't lowered.

Everyone on this forum has spun the 9 inch stockers, so Im sure 11's wont hurt and are justified on any fourth gen

Most of the time the 315's perform equally or worse. The contact patch on a 315 is very limited and the tires weigh more.

So basically people are saying that great, mean looking rims aren't worth it because you will lose maybe a tenth at the most in the quarter mile-unless you strictly drag race. This to me is absolutely ridiculous and I would much rather have a great, mean looking car than a stock one with not so mean of tires.

Your posting of 10 crappy quality photos of your red Z28 just to show one set of wheels is equally dumb. Maybe pick 2 good photos of them and call it a day. It isn't like there aren't 1000 other photos of cars with TT2 wheels already circulating on the site.

not really. He asked for "good angled" pictures. He didnt say which angle he wanted. So I pretty much gave him pictures of every possible angle. And true. There are 1000s of other pictures of TT2s on here. But then again. Theres also alot of these same exact threads too, but the search doesnt work. So obviously same pics/threads will get posted over and over again.

TT2's = 315's, they are a pain in the butt to keep'em clean, but damn those rims and wide tires look good on f-bodies.

So you mean stock rims vs. 17 x 11's in the back. I bet you that a set of 17x9.5s vs a set of 17x9.5's/11's would not be four tenths faster. Also if your sacrificing amazing looking rims for .3 in the quarter you might as well just sell your car and build a cheap/shitty drag car.
