Default nitto DR's in rear, what in front?

fixing to order my nittos for my black z06 rims and im not to sure with what tires to put up front, I never drive in the rain and only if I get caught in it, and I already know that with the DR's in the back wet traction is going to be non exisitant, what Im asking is this basically.

does it really matter if I go with a cheaper tire up front?

I was looking at the Hankook Ventus, the Falken Ziex or Azenis'...

dont get cheap tires in front.

I have Sumitomos and they squeal everytime I brake hard. My Falkens never did.

I have the Ventus' up front. No complaints here. However, sometimes it bothers me that the front and rear tires don't match. Other than that I don't have anything bad to say about the tires. Relatively quiet and after 8,000 miles they still look new.

Why not get the nitto 555s up front? Those are nice tires.

would it add more friction ( due to having a softer compound that sticks more) to have 555rDRs in teh front, Just for handling sake, so it will grip the road better on turns? or is this not a good idea, and why isnt it a good idea, if so?

Get the NT555RII's, those are the same tread compound but a stiffer sidewall for road race, if i had a non daily driver car i would put those all the way around

I meant the regular 555s whatever they're called nto the drag radials. You don't want drag radials up front.

Ok, whats the reasoning under this? more friction to roll, since they grab better?

the regular 555Rs werr great when I road raced. even had a 50 aspect ratio on 16" snowflake rims. my frint falkens were more of a restriction on corners. I had understeer.

Get the Nitto 555s up front. I've got the 555s up front and the DR's in the back. Might as well stay with the same company. I think tires with different tread designs look tacky, and YES you can tell. The Nitto's look like they belong together (imagine that)

Nitto RII's up front, regular 555R out back. Makes for awesome street car and works at the track (road race or drag race)
