Default 285/30/18's on 10.5 inch rim?

Will it work? ....Safely?

If so would they fit under a 98 Z lowered 1.5? (56mm offset)

In order for it to be the same rolling diameter as stock wheels you need 285/35/18's and they will fit fine

but 30's will fit a 10.5 inch rim?

so are the 30's shorter or taller?

(sorry if this is a dumb question but tires are confusing)

295= width in MM
30=sidewall height as a percentage of width
18 rim diameter

I run 295/35/18's in the back on a KDW tire 10.5w rim.

No rubbing BUT I'm not lowered. I believe rubbing will depend on the offset of your wheels. Read the stickies... I didnt know too much about tires and wheels until i read the stickies! Great info.

good luck.

i have c6 zo6 rims in this size on my ss and the rear wheel looked horrible in the 285. there was a gap like piece between the tire and rim itself. mayeb it was just how the rims were designed.

That matte black finish on the formula looks completely sinister, almost like some European porsche look. Hardcore, I like it !
