I actually have a set of rears for sale because I originally wanted to have 9.5" width all the way around, however the 9.5's don't fit the front because of the spoke design. They won't clear our front calipers. Plus they have a near 4" lip and that would look really strange on the front anyway. If anyone here is interested, PM me about them. I have a thread up in the FS section too.
so the 9.5s would hit the calipers in the front? why does it do this cuz of the deep lip? I have been saving up for these rims but that kind of sucks if the 9.5's don't fit the front

Yes I felt the same way until I got the staggered setup mounted. It really looks alot better this way.

I originally ordered 9.5s all the way around because I knew of a couple of C5 vettes that did this with no problem. I figured if they could do it, it would certainly not be a problem on my car (seeing as f-bodys can take a lower offset). As it turns out the spokes of the 18x9.5 (45mm) wheel will not clear stock f-body calipers. SOMEHOW they DO clear stock C5 calipers on Vettes though. How this works is still a mystery to me. But that is the long and short of it. If you want 18x9.5 in the front, you will have to either find the extremely elusive 35mm offset wheels, and get flared front fenders, or put a 1/4" spacer on the 45mm wheels and roll the fender lip. The 18x8.5s fit because the spokes flare alot more and leave about a 1" gap off of the caliper. This is exactly what I was looking for because i want to fit c5 or Z51 brakes on my car.

I have two brand new 18x9.5s for sale if you want to snag a set...that way you at least have two. Plus it would save you alot of money off of what you would pay for them from a dealer.

Nice. My buddy runs them on his 3 series. 19", they look awesome. Cheap money, only downfall is they are pretty heavy.

I'm asking $380 shipped. That's about $70 off what you would pay at the cheapest dealer i've found.

Nope the ones i'm selling are just like the ones on my car. They have graphite painted centers with polished lips. Ruff calls the finish "Hyperblack"...though it's nowhere near black in any way.

The 18x8.5s will definetly fit up front with C5 brakes. There is over an inch of clearance with the f-body calipers. That was one of my criteria since i'm going to be doing either the C5 or Z51 brake upgrade next month.

The 18x9.5s will not fit even the stock f-body calipers up front. They will fit either f-body or C5 brakes in the rear though.

An inch of clearance from the caliper to the spokes?
