Default Depends if you care how it looks.

If you want the car to look good with some drag rims get some Welds skinnies front 3.5's and 15x10's for rear and put MT ET Streets on em. If you don't care how they look get some cheap stockers with ET STreets

ET's will hook up better but they will not last as long as the radials I would still get ET's if it was just to go to the track only just if it even looks like it will rain forget about going to track that day just my .02 cents

I'd just get some 16" stock wheels and run the 255/50 MT street radials. If you want them then get some 17" or larger and run some other drag radials but they will not work as well and will cost a hell of a lot more. Et street radials will be perfectly fine on the highway and driving around just not soo good in the rain.

you can also get the Bias ply ET streets in 26" x 10.5" or 11.5" width and they will fit on a stock 16" as well or can be had to fit on a 17" rim but it would be good not not run those on the highway for extended times.

well you wanted a low cost setup 255/50's on stock 16s are the way to go. No grinding modding, spacers, or anything with those. If you are worried about how it looks and want to really make sure the car will hook get some drag rims, slicks and skinnies and take weight out of the car. you should be making some good power with those mods so chances are you will need to do some tuning to get it to hook.

If you can get a whole set of stock 16s cheap enough, I would just throw the least expensive, hardest, 225/55 16s on the front as sort of a low weight, low rolling resistance "cheap skinny". As a bonus, it would look good as well since it would be wwaaayyy narrower than the MT DR backs.

Exactly what I am doing, except with a 225/50/16, its just a tad shorter and should look pretty sweet for that raked look.

Just some cheap Hankook 225/50/16's on the front, on the rear I am currently running 255/50/16 MT DR's. I will be trying out some 26/11.50/16 MT ET Street Bias ply slicks next. The DR seems to do alright but the best I have gotten was a 1.77 60ft with them, but I really have to slip my clutch alot to do that.

235/55 front, 255/50 MT DR rear here. Works great at my power level. I run them on the street, too, in good weather.
