Anyone put their car on blocks? Bricks?
Hey guys-
I just pulled quite the bone head move..
I sold my stockers and now I have sold my current wheels.. I am going to replace the current wheels with the money from them, anyway...
I need to pull the current wheels off the car and ship them, which will leave the car with no wheels for a few days..
I have found a guy willing to let me borrow his stock wheels, but he is an hour away and I am semi-considering just putting the car up on blocks redneck style..
I was wondering if anyone has done this and what would be the best way to go about it?
Or would it be ok to let it sit on jack stands for a week or so??
Thanks
Jeff

I'd suggest that before putting them on blocks, etc. If you had no other options, I would suggest atleast putting some kind of blankets or cushioning on the blocks not to hurt your rotors, but definitely go with the jackstands; sounds the safest way to me.

use jack stands...right behind the front wheels theres a jacking point thats part of the sub-frames. same with the rear; right in front of the rear wheels theres a jacking point that is also part of the rear sub-frame

use jack stands it will be fine.... do not put it on blocks it could mess the rotors up.... if u put it on jack stands in the right spot it could sit for years with no problems... as long as its sopported evenly...
