Nah...mine are silver. I've now got a guy willing to trade (all we have to cover is shipping to each other) me his stock 19x10's for my stock 18x8.5's because he wants to go 18's all the way around, so I'll have 4 19x10's for roughly $250 + another $100 in spacers
My Z28 is black as well and I currently have the C5 Z06 17x9.5 rims on it in chrome, but for some reason I've always been partial to silver rims on black cars...they seem to "show up" better IMO. However, I plan to keep both sets just so I can the look of my car from time to time

I HATE that tires not as wide as the wheel, so the rim edge sticks out of the tire look.
The 285's fit PERFECT. not too wide and not too skinny.
Oh and i would run 1.25" spacers on the rear and 1" spacers on the front in your case.
here's another helpfull thread.

I've already got a set of Michelin Pilot Sport A/S in 275/30/19 and they're 11" wide. My current Firestone Firehawk SZ50's in 275/40/17 are only 9.5" wide.
If I run a 1" spacer (adapter) on the front, will I have to grind a little on the stock studs so the wheel will fit flush on the adpter?
